OBAMA SURROGATES SEND POSTCARDS CLAIMING TO BE CRIME STOPPERS
The Obama surrogates have now committed a felony impersonation that is being investigated by the Pueblo Colorado Crime Stoppers, The US Postal Inspector and the Port Orange, Florida Police Department.
I was notified yesterday that the management here received as did almost every single resident in this community a post card claiming to be from the Pueblo, Colorado Crime Stoppers. Well I just finished speaking with the Port Orange Police and providing them a copy of the threat to send out these items
OBAMA BLOGGERS THREATEN TO SEND ATTACK LETTERS TO MY NEIGHBORS
I just got off the phone with the Pueblo Crime Stoppers who has made it clear that they have received calls from these people. I have faxed a copy of the post card mailed out using Pueblo Crime Stoppers name, address and phone number to them and they are not happy that these people have impersonated them. In addition Pueblo Crime Stoppers has informed both the management here and the Port Orange Police that this mailing is harassment and that it does constitute felony impersonation.
Let me make it clear to those responsible for sending this to all of my neighbors, I have never denied my past, and will not start now. I do know that Pueblo Crime Stoppers has made it clear your claims they are working with you to change the status of the Colorado matter is an outright lie. In fact you have repeatedly been told that the matter is a Colorado Only matter and will remain as such.
I would like to thank the management here, the Port Orange Police Department, the Pueblo Colorado Police Department, the Pueblo Crime Stoppers and the FBI for their professionalism, cooperation and honesty in this matter.

Our neighborhood watch notified us when a felon has moved into the neighborhood. That’s information from the Pueblo County crime stoppers. The information written on the card is truthful. And Larry himself posted that picture of himself with guns and was damn proud of it, too.

When I lived in a neighborhood with a neighborhood watch, we’d get the info about criminals in our midst directly from our neighborhood police, including pictures, criminal record, their landlord, the whole bit. And we could and did request a criminal records check from the police on any potential tenant. That was most helpful.

Whoever sent that postcard was doing a service to the community. People who live near Larry would be wise to hang on tightly to their wallets. They should also not leave their government checks lying around as forging a government check is the charge in Colorado resulting in the warrant.
Some poor soul in Pueblo thought Larry was their friend and gave him access to their home when they were away. Larry repaid their friendship by fraudulently endorsing their government check over to himself and cashing it…at least that is what he’s charged with. Since instead of appearing in court he fled the state, even skedaddling across the border to Mexico for awhile, he has not yet been convicted.
On his return from Mexico he spent some time in Texas where he was charged with writing a bad check on a closed account. Then he headed to Delaware where he was charged with passing phony money orders. He then scampered off to Minnesota where he hasn’t yet been charged with a crime. He did however leave Minnesota in a hurry, selling everything and hitting the road for Georgia. He hid in the woods in Georgia for awhile, alternating between roughing it in his camper and staying in motels in town. In Georgia he had a few photographs taken of himself holding a pistol and a rifle.
A few months later he turned up in Florida. He has had problems with the law in FL in the past but not in Volusia County. He recently claimed to be shooting varmints under his trailer, implying he is still in possession of some type of gun. He’s also posted picture of a shiny collectible item he claims he found lying around in his yard after the flooding.
Once again, whoever warned Larry’s neighbors gets a virtual pat on the back from me.

Nevada politics were thrown into turmoil, and the state’s Republican Party suffered another serious setback Tuesday as Sen. John Ensign acknowledged an extramarital affair with a staff member who was the wife of a top aide to the senator.
The woman is believed to be Cynthia Hampton, then-treasurer of the senator’s campaign and political action committee. Her husband, Doug Hampton, was a senior member of Ensign’s Senate staff.
Ensign’s afternoon news conference at the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse was just the midpoint of one of the strangest days — and most damaging for Republicans — in recent Nevada political history.
Ensign read a brief prepared statement in which he expressed regret and took no questions.
“I came back home to Nevada to come forward to explain to the citizens of our state something I was involved in about a year ago. Last year I had an affair. I violated the vows of our marriage. It is absolutely the worst thing I have ever done in my life,” Ensign said in a meeting room at the courthouse.
Ensign said he sought and received forgiveness from his wife and that the couple had gone to counseling. He said he is still committed to serving the people of Nevada.
Still, the day’s events are likely to distract him from his efforts to rebuild the Nevada Republican Party.
The party took two other smaller, but still damaging, blows Tuesday, as state Sen. Warren Hardy and Gov. Jim Gibbons’ chief of staff, Josh Hicks, both resigned to pursue other opportunities.
It is not yet clear what impact Ensign’s affair will have on his apparent move toward national prominence.
Ensign has a history as a strong social conservative — he is a member of the Promise Keepers and is likely to face charges of hypocrisy.
The affair took place between December 2007 and August 2008. The Hamptons, who could not be reached for comment, have not worked for the senator since May 2008.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Ensign said. “I know I have deeply hurt and disappointed my wife, Darlene, my children, my family, my friends, my staff and all of those who believed in me.”
Darlene Ensign released a statement about the affair:
“Since we found out last year we have worked through the situation and we have come to a reconciliation. This has been difficult on both families. With the help of our family and close friends our marriage has become stronger,” Darlene Ensign said.
John Ensign, first elected to Congress with the Republican wave in 1994 and then to the U.S. Senate in 2000, was thought to be a rising star in both state and national politics. He’s become a fixture on the Beltway talk show circuit and had been thought to be a potential national candidate in 2012, offering reliably conservative views and TV good looks.
He ran Senate Republican election efforts last year — an effort that failed badly with Republicans losing eight and as many as nine seats if Al Franken of Minnesota gets seated.
Still, he rose to become chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, which is the No. 4 position on the leadership ladder.
He traveled this month to Iowa, which holds the first presidential caucus on the nominating calendar, to test the waters.
Nevada political operatives said Ensign could recover but added he has a “hypocrisy problem” because he has been a social as well as fiscal conservative.
He called on Idaho Sen. Larry Craig, who pled guilty in 2007 to soliciting sex in a Minneapolis airport bathroom, to resign. He said during his 1998 Senate campaign that then-President Bill Clinton should resign because of his affair with an intern. And he has defended the “sanctity of marriage.”
For Nevada Republicans, the revelations interrupt hopes that Ensign would help rebuild the party following massive losses in 2008. Ensign, who consistently polls the best among Nevada elected officials, had pledged to help rebuild the party by raising money and organizing grass-roots support.
Robert Uithoven, a Republican operative who got into politics by volunteering for Ensign’s 1994 campaign, said Ensign can come back.
“Since 1994 John Ensign has established a lot of good will. He’s been an effective member of the House and Senate, and is one of the most effective elected figures in Nevada. Because of that he has a very good chance of healing this situation,” he said.
“These things are not the career killers they used to be,” said Jennifer Duffy, who analyzes Senate races at the Cook Political Report in Washington.
But Ensign’s personal life would seem to be intruding on his efforts to rebuild in Nevada, as several Republican operatives acknowledged Tuesday.
Sun partner Politico, as well as Fox News and other outlets, reported that Ensign was the subject of an extortion threat related to the affair. They also reported that Ensign had given Hampton a severance when she left the employ of his campaign committees.
The Sun could not confirm the reports.
Nevada Republicans began trading rumors early Tuesday.
In the front of their minds, Republicans were reminded that Ensign had been suddenly absent from Washington in 2002 and declined to offer details about why he took two weeks off from his job in Congress to tend to a “personal matter,” which was assumed to be related to his marriage.
“I’m not making any comments one way or the other,” Ensign said at the time. “I’m just asking people to respect my privacy.”
Washington started whispering Tuesday afternoon when Ensign failed to show up for the Republican Party’s weekly policy lunch or attend a leadership news conference that followed.
Ensign, as the fourth-ranking leader in his party and chairman of the Senate’s Republican Policy Committee, is often central to both.
The Washington Post first reported the story Tuesday.
Ensign’s office did not respond to several e-mailed questions from the Sun.
The questions included:
• Was Cynthia Hampton given a severance, and if so, why?
• Did Ensign secure employment for Doug Hampton after his departure from Ensign’s political and legislative orbit?
• If Ensign was the victim of an extortion attempt, did he alert authorities?
While Ensign confronts these questions, Nevada Republicans are temporarily without a leading figure. Gibbons is going through a messy divorce and is one of the least popular elected officials in the country.

Larry’s willing to break the law–a convicted felon cannot be in possession of a firearm and ammunition–and to make death threats against the president, his chief of staff and regular citizens. He’s cheating on his adult welfare with unreported income. He whines constantly that he can’t pay for his meds, but yet he’s going to order 5,000 books at a cost of over $50,000. The most ludicrous statement of all is that he’s made police reports to almost a half a dozen law enforcement agencies. The ironic thing is that if he gets his way and law enforcement charges someone, anyone (and with Larry, that’s just pulling some name out of his ass), the jurisdiction would be in Colorado (the cards sent out were postmarked “Denver”). And the US Constitution clearly says this:
This means that Larry, the complaining witness, would have to go to Denver, Colorado to testify against the accused. He can’t do it by phone, email, tweets or any other method. I mean Larry would have to travel to Denver, Colorado, to testify in person. This is the constitutional right of the accused. This would be problematic to Larry, as he does have that warrant out of Pueblo, Colorado, and he would be immediately arrested–and with a no-bond warrant, it means he sits in jail for a very long time.
Now Larry may be stupid and functionally illiterate, but he’s very cognizant of the legal system, simply because he’s been in the criminal justice system for over, oh, 30 years or more. There’s no way Larry is ever going to go back to Colorado.
Now Larry does have a book coming out and he needs the publicity. He’s also been known to use other screen names to pump up himself up. He’s been convicted of fraud a couple times. He likes portraying himself as a victim, and he’s honed that to professional victim status, all the while making death threats, threats of arson and physical violence to those whom he thinks have crossed him, or even disagree with him.
The conclusion one can and should draw from this is that Larry sent those cards to himself as yet another ploy sell more books. It’s merely a publicity stunt. Expect to see more publicity stunts from Fatso in the future.

In a legal sense, the postcard’s photoshopped picture is not materially different from the original with respect to the message on the card. The important elements of the photo are Larry carrying the weapons. The T-Shirt is irrelevant in this case and the position of Larry’s arm is irrelevant.
If, for example, the photoshopped version had shown Larry pointed the gun at another person that would be materially different.

Deltona gas station robbed at gunpoint

DELTONA — A convenience store clerk who hesitated to hand over money to a robber was bruised when the armed suspect grabbed and shoved her, deputies said.
Preliminary investigations show the suspect stepped into the Kangaroo gas station at 2910 Howland Blvd at 1:42 this morning.
The clerk told deputies that the suspect, described as white, with brown hair, a moustache and a goatee, robbed her at gunpoint, a dispatcher’s log showed.
The 5′ 6″ tall suspect of average build, wearing a brown jacket, told the clerk, “Give me the money or I will hurt you,” authorities said.
The clerk did not give the robber the money at first, but the suspect grabbed the clerk by the arm and shoved her, causing a slight bruising, authorities said. The man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the scene and was last seen heading in the direction of a bar. A search by deputies, police dogs and a sheriff’s helicopter failed to find the robber, authorities said.

Because the post cards were postmarked from Denver, Colorado, and originated from there, Colorado has jurisdiction (Larry only knows about the post cards that arrived in Port Orange FL. There may be more post cards out there mailed to other states). And because of the 6th amendment to the Constitution, the accused has the right to confront his or her accusers in person. Larry is the accuser, so he’d have to appear in court in person in Colorado to testify.
Courts have forced small children to testify in person in sex abuse cases because of the 6th Amendment. They have forced attempted murder victims to testify in person because of the 6th Amendment. They have forced stalking victims to testify in person because of the 6th Amendment. There is no Larry Sinclair exception to the 6th Amendment, and Larry knows that.
In fact, just recently, a lawyer in New Jersey was arrested for intimidating witnesses and being a party to eliminating others.

Ooh, he’s going to sell the book in the UK? That’s a risky move. Libel laws are notoriously broad in England. So much so that the Church of Scientology has, on at least one occasion, had copies a book that was critical of it shipped to England so it could file suit there rather than here. The burden of proof is on the defendant in common law libel cases, and all the plaintiff has to do is prove that the defendant was negligent in ascertaining the veracity of the statement in question.

There are book publishers at the conference. I found McFarland & Company Inc. Publishers. They publish academic type work. A friend had his first book published by them. It was like a $28.00 250 page small print trade paperback.
Publishers are there to get noticed by library book buyers. They don’t push a single book. They push a catalog. Larry should get another booth for “Go Tell Rhoda”.

President Obama, who knows first-hand the pain of paternal abandonment, writes in a gripping Father’s Day essay that his primary goal in life is to be a good dad.
In an essay for Parade magazine to be published Sunday, Obama wrote he observes Father’s Day not just a dad grateful for his two precious daughters but also as a son who grew up without a father in his life.
Obama, the son of father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas, was raised by his mother and maternal grandparents. His father split abandoned him as a child and is now dead.
“In many ways, I came to understand the importance of fatherhood through its absence — both in my life and in the lives of others,” Obama writes in his first Father’s Day essay as the nation’s 44th president.
“I came to understand that the hole a man leaves when he abandons his responsibility to his children is one that no government can fill,” he writes. “We can do everything possible to provide good jobs and good schools and safe streets for our kids, but it will never be enough to fully make up the difference.”
He implores fathers to be accountable for raising and caring for their children.
“We need fathers to step up, to realize that their job does not end at conception; that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child but the courage to raise one,” he writes.
The president admits that he’s an “imperfect father” who has made mistakes and allowed the demands of work to interfere with his duties as a dad. Most recently, he pointed to the campaign trail as a prime example.
“There were many days out on the campaign trail when I felt like my family was a million miles away, and I knew I was missing moments of my daughters’ lives that I’d never get back,” he writes. “It is a loss I will never fully accept.”
In January, two days before inauguration, Obama published a letter to his daughters in Parade magazine that attracted attention around the globe. In that letter, Obama described what he hoped for his daughters — and all the nation’s children — as he began this new chapter in his life.
By all accounts, Obama’s daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 8, are thriving in the White House, adjusting to their new lives in Washington with relative ease.
As Father’s Day 2009 rolls around, the president recommits to his daughters in the Parade essay.
“On this Father’s Day,” he writes, “I think about the pledge I made to Malia the day she was born: that I would give her what I never had-that if I could be anything in life, I would be a good father.”

I’m kind of sad he didn’t flesh it out with pictures etc, if he did, then wow its shorter than I originally thought. I really cannot believe that ‘book’ is anywhere near 200 pages or 158. Looks more like it barely makes 89.

If that page is representative, it’s about 100 words. Which makes the entire book about 20,000 words long or less. I’ve written papers in an evening (fully sourced with footnotes) that are longer than Larry’s “book”.
Based on the average number of words per page, his book should only be about 50 pages long.

WorldNetDaily, all over the story of the fringey questions about Obama’s birth, finds a senator who is backing legislation driven by the birther movement:
Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., says it’s the responsibility of the states to make sure political candidates are eligible for the offices they seek, but he’s in favor of both state and federal demands that future presidential candidates have a formal procedure to document their qualifications.
The relatively strong statement from Coburn on the issue of the eligibility of a president came in a recent letter to a constituent who contacted WND.
WND has reported on a federal plan in the U.S. House by Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., that would require documentation of eligibility from presidential candidates, and Coburn confirmed he would view that positively.
“The bill requires any federal candidates’ campaign committee filing with the Federal Election Commission to produce a copy of the candidate’s birth certificate,” he wrote. “If the bill makes it to the Senate, I will likely support it.”
Coburn also noted that within the state of Oklahoma, a bill has been proposed that would require “any candidate filing with the Oklahoma State Election Board to provide proof of citizenship by providing a ’state government-issued birth certificate with a raised seal.’”
“I hope the Oklahoma State Legislature will give serious consideration to this bill and I hope more states will reform their ballot access laws to ensure federal candidates must affirmatively prove their eligibility,” the senator wrote.
He said while he believes President Obama “meets the constitutional requirement to be president,” he said, “It is each state’s responsibility to determine the eligibility of those running for federal office.”
