1 thought on “What is RFC”

  1. Request for Comments (RFC) is a series of files arranged in numbers. The file collects relevant information about the Internet, as well as software files for the UNIX and Internet communities. The current RFC file is sponsored by the Internet Society (ISOC). The basic Internet communication protocols are explained in detail in the RFC file. The RFC file also adds an additional topic in the standard, such as the newly opened agreement and all records in the development of the Internet. So almost all Internet standards are included in RFC files.
